7 Office-friendly Shoe Styles, Straight From Our Photo Shoots

Customers often ask us what the models are wearing on their feet in our photos (and we’re always like, “But what about the clothes?”). While we hope to someday dress you entirely from head to toe in MM, we currently procure our footwear elsewhere. We do have good taste, though, don’t we? Here are seven office-friendly styles that work well with our latest collection.
1. The Cool Patent Loafer
When it comes to flats, you want to signal “polished,” not “commuter”—and a chic black loafer does just that. We matched this pair, from Zara, with the Waverly skirt in black.
2. The Chunky-heeled Power Pump
They may not be comfortable enough for everyday office-wear, but it’s never a bad idea to have a pair of seriously high, knock-’em-dead heels that you can slip on before a major meeting. These wooden-heeled pumps by Yves Saint Laurent do the trick. Here, they’re worn with our Nakamura trouser in plaid.
3. The Modern Mid-heel
Your office wardrobe might err towards traditional, but it can be fun to spice things up with a fashion-forward shoe—particularly if it has a walkable mid-height heel. This pointy-toed pair from Zara works well for those who like to walk on the trendier side without dropping wads of cash (or teetering on stilettos). Wear them with our Noho skirt in crackle for a polished, professional vibe.
4. Loafers with Attitude
We’re always up for a new take on the penny loafer, and these suede Manolo Blahnik heels are no exception. The cool neutral shade has a leg-lengthening effect, perfect for flashing some ankle in the cropped Oshima pant.
5. Serious Straps
If it’s kosher in your workplace to wear open-toed shoes, they make an outfit look instantly dressier (not to mention more cocktail-hour friendly).
