5 Up-for-Anything Outfits That Don’t Fall Flat
Our flats can walk the walk and dance ‘til the music dies.
Our flats were made for walking—but they’ve also got a few more tricks up their sleeves (soles?). The Rowan flats have an elegant look; super-supportive, comfy footbeds; and a frankly shocking amount of flexibility. So naturally, we’ve been living in them this summer. Here are five looks our Brand Stylist, Nyjerah, recommends for your adventures, modeled by our Customer Communications Associate, Emma.
For Frolicking Freely
The Medina dress is so dreamy, you might momentarily drift off to a cottagecore fantasyland. The Rowan flats in snakeskin will introduce some texture and keep your outfit looking polished. They’re also comfortable enough for frolicking through a field of wildflowers while eating homemade focaccia (or whatever the kids are doing these days). Add the bold and beautiful Luna hoops to pull the look together.
For Stepping It Up
Every day is a good day if you’re wearing shimmery gold shoes! Just kidding—but wouldn’t that be nice? Still, the Rowan flats in Prosecco are unequivocal mood boosters, thanks in part to the fact that wearing them feels like walking on clouds. Pair Prosecco with warm neutral styles—like the Hockley jeans in ochre and the Anna jacket in natural—for a tonal look. The casual vibes of the jacket and jeans make it look like you didn’t try too hard, while the sophisticated palette suggests that you have an eye for style (because you do).
For Kicking Back
Don’t be fooled by its devilish good looks—the Demi jumpsuit is basically loungewear in disguise. Pair it with the ultra-flexible Rowan flats in cherry for what might be the most deceptively comfortable ensemble of all time. This outfit is ideal for splaying yourself across a picnic blanket, hanging out on a park bench, and, later, collapsing onto the couch (what a day). Remember to add some big earrings so your feet don’t get to have all the fun.
For Feeling Footloose
The Rowan flat is made using a technique called “sacchetto” that allows the shoe to mold to your foot—a technique typically used to construct ballet slippers. So, really, it would be a shame not to dance around in these puppies. It’s not every day that you see someone breaking it down in a blazer, but that’s just because most blazers don’t have stretchy, flail-friendly knit inserts in the seams like the Jie jacket does. Pair it with a summery skirt, machine-washable top, and some large-yet-lightweight earrings, and you’re good to go.
For Cartwheeling with Confidence
Our flats have a pointed toe and streamlined shape, so pairing the Rowan in black with tailored black trousers and a matching top makes for a super sleek look. Add the contrasting Willow vest to create a column outfit and the Claressa earrings for some shine. If you’ve gotten this far, you likely look amazing. So amazing, in fact, that you might be on a confidence high that inspires you to attempt an acrobatic feat. Go for it—your entire outfit is machine-washable.
