Six Pieces, Ten Outfits: A Time-Saving (and Cost-Saving) Mini Capsule
When your to-do list is full to the brim, less is more.
I’m having one of those weeks where my to-do list just keeps getting longer. It seems like every time I complete a task, two more pop up in its wake. In many of these cases, there’s not much I can do—it’s simply a busy time of year. But during times like these, I find it helpful to focus on the things I can control. For one, my clothing choices.
When I’m extra busy, it saves me time and mental energy to center my outfits around a few go-to pieces that I know make me feel good. I let go of the aspiration to achieve peak sartorial creativity and instead focus on mix-and-match styles that look great together without requiring any thought. Because sometimes, less is more.
In case you’re facing a similarly hectic schedule, I’ve put together a capsule of just six styles that will give you more than a week’s worth of outfits. Even better? We’re currently having a 20%-off sale, so you can save on several of these pieces and more with code SAVEBIG.

The Pieces
- The Valencia Dress ($295
$365): Just an extremely chic dress that makes you look like a fashion editor. Enough said. - The Yiyan Classic Blazer ($396
$495): The very best version of a classic, tailored blazer, featuring covered buttons and stretchy knit panels through the back that allow for maximum mobility. - The Nora Top ($265): A beautifully draped washable silk top in the most sophisticated floral print. I love how this print reads as festive during the winter months but springy during warmer seasons.
- The Lea Sweater ($395): The perfect chunky turtleneck—oversized without being overwhelming, cloud soft, and gorgeously textured.
- The Kick Flare Foster Pants ($204
$255): An on-trend, ultra-versatile silhouette, made from our flexible yet crisp PowerStretch fabric. - The Horton Pants ($236
$295): Flared trousers that fit like a dream. We wear them with everything from the matching Yiyan blazer to T-shirts and sneakers.
The Outfits
For a look that’s effortless but interesting, pair the silk Nora top with the stretchy Kick Flare Foster pants and some playful red flats. Need something a bit more formal? Add the Yiyan blazer.
Create contrast by wearing the light and airy Nora top with black trousers. Simple gold hoops and sneakers keep the look on the casual side, but if you prefer, you could step things up with the Yiyan blazer, the knit Lana boots, and some sparkly earrings.
A cozy statement sweater like the Lea needs very little styling—this piece speaks for itself. It also looks great with pretty much every pair of pants, the Kick Flare Foster and Horton included. For variety, try these looks with both sneakers and flats.
One secret to making the most of your wardrobe is finding multiple ways to wear your pieces. In these looks, draping the Lea sweater over your shoulders will give the outfits a whole new vibe. Of course, it also helps to switch up your footwear. Try leopard loafers for some fun pattern mixing, or go for a coordinating pair of sneakers.
The Valencia is a statement dress, and I love it styled simply with strappy heels and earrings to show off its gorgeous construction. On days when you want a bit more coverage, it also looks great with a blazer, knee-high boots, and this hunter green belt for an incredibly sharp office look.
