This spring threw us all for a loop. And though it feels like we’re in a psychological holding pattern, there are good things to come. At M.M.LaFleur, we’re optimistically looking ahead to summer: the warmth, the light, the breezy outfits (to be worn at home—or hopefully, not at home). Below, our Brand Stylist, Nyjerah, breaks down our new Summer Preview collection by color.

Magnolia, Russet, and Canary

In the Garden

“This color combo exudes happiness and a playful energy, and it evokes those sunny days to come. Soft neutrals like russet (and camel and fawn) form a serene canvas, while canary provides a joyful pop.”

Verbena, Olive, Everglade, and Emerald

In the Forest

“Earthy green tones (like olive and everglade) immediately make me think of self-care. We all need those meditative moments—even when it comes to our wardrobes. This palette (with its confident emerald and soothing verbena) is all about tuning out our surroundings to be with ourselves and honor our own needs. Sometimes that’s all that matters.”

Powder Blue, Magnolia, and Sea Salt

In the Clouds

“‘Head in the clouds; feet in the sand’ is the essence of this sea-inspired mood board. The ivory and powder blue pairing feels soft and airy as the sky; while the magnolia and sea salt combo feels grounded and elemental.”
