Meet the Stylist: Minjung Chi

July 28, 2017 | Filed in: Humans of MM

MM’s stylist team is our secret sauce: They’re a whip-smart, hardworking, big-hearted bunch with a passion for making our customers feel great (and knowing the exact size to send). On any given day, they can be found concocting the perfect Bento Box, styling new outfits from our latest collection, (wo)manning the floor at a pop-up, or responding to each and every customer email. Next up in our series featuring the individuals that comprise this unstoppable crew: Minjung Chi.

Nickname: Min.

Hometown: Marlboro, New Jersey.

Alma mater and major: Brown University, Psychology.

Namesake MM piece: I don’t have one yet, but the Min sweater is coming out this fall!

Min wears the Aditi 2.0 dress in modern houndstooth with the Wells 2.0 jacket.

Most-worn MM piece: The Bourgeois blouse with the Foster pant.

Signature styling trick: Mixing black and navy.

Proudest styling moment: I put together a handful of interview outfits (including a few power suits) and sent them to a customer for a job interview. And she got the offer!

Favorite New York City restaurant and menu pick: Bohemian’s flat iron washu beef.

Min wears the Wharton jacket in yarn stripe and the Noho skirt in yarn stripe.

Favorite way to spend a Saturday: Cuddling with Cashew, my French bulldog puppy. Sometimes she helps with work, too.

Dream pop-up destination (and why): Seoul! It’s where I grew up, and I’ve converted a dozen of my Korean friends (and their moms) to MM. They all wonder why MM isn’t launching in Korea yet.

Currently reading: Sapiens by Yuval Harari.

Currently watching: Korean cooking shows.

Min wears the Wells 2.0 jacket, the Simone top in black, and the Foster pant in russet.

One thing you can’t live without: Ice-cold beer.

Spirit animal: A bunny.

Hidden talent: I’m very flexible—I used to do yoga every single day of the week.

Go-to desk lunch: A Chipotle burrito bowl topped with guacamole.

Best part about working at MM: The team!
