A Visit to M.M. & Daughters
To celebrate our dynamic spring collection, we could think of no better place than the iconic Russ & Daughters Cafe in New York City. The shop is the first known American business with “& Daughters” in its name—a fact we honored by inviting our guests to bring an important woman in their life to the event. Upon entering “M.M. & Daughters” for the evening, guests were greeted by Champagne and latkes with crème fraîche and caviar, which echoed the black-and-white plaid from our newest release. The conversation flowed (as did the bagels) and paused only for a live, interactive tap performance from renowned dancers Ayodele Casel, Naomi Funaki, and Lisa LaTouche, clad in plaid from head to toe. After their joyous dance to “I’ve Got Rhythm,” we closed out the evening with more black-and-white treats, spiked egg cream, and delicious conversation.
